"And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect." Matt. 24: 31.

Glad day when the angels gather God's children home! That is the time when they will be caught up to meet the Lord, and be forever with Him. 1Thess. 4: 16- 18. That is the time we are to be rewarded.

"Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be." Rev. 22: 12.

It is then that we put on immortality.

"For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality." 1Cor. 15: 53.

The coming of Christ is the glad coronation day; and when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. 1 Peter 5: 4.

"Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that day; and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing." 2Tim. 4: 8.

Do you love His appearing? Then a bright crown of righteousness awaits you at that day. The righteous will be glad to see the Lord come.

"and it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us; this is the Lord: we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation." Isa. 25: 9.

The wicked will be sorry to see Him come.
